Our Pastor

Pastor Peter Grebe has been our Senior Pastor since July 2024.  He grew up in the San Francisco Bay area and came to Humboldt County in 2010 to attend Humboldt State University.  While there he earned a degree in History and met his future wife, Gina.  They married in 2013, and have 3 gregarious children: Evelyn, Robin, and Lucy.

After graduating from Humboldt State Peter started a Youth Group at Arcata First Baptist, and taught 7th and 8th grade at Arcata Christian School. He also led the college group there for a number of years.

In 2021 Peter began attending Western Seminary online and in December of 2025 he earned his master's degree in divinity.

Pastor Grebe is passionate about following Jesus in every aspect of his life and calling others to the same.  He is also passionate about biblical literacy and Spiritual formation and growth through genuine relationship, and humble communication.
